Randy Phipps
Founder & Principal
As Founder and Principal of RP Communications, Randy Phipps specializes in public relations, creative direction and digital content creation. Based out of Toronto, Randy began his career eight years ago managing the public relations for two major charitable organizations. His strong background in event coordination, journalism and philanthropy led to the success of several innovative campaigns.
In 2017, Randy left the agency and founded RP Communications, a full-service firm dedicated to delivering meaningful results. He takes a hands-on approach to building a strong working relationship with every client— crafting effective strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. RP Communications proudly represents Canada’s top subject matter experts, international entertainment figures, media personalities and most recently did the public relations campaign for President Barack Obama during his recent visit to Toronto.
Believing strongly in giving back, Randy spends his free time serving the community through volunteering. He works closely with Free-Them, an initiative dedicated to combating human trafficking in Canada. Randy also sits on the board of directors for MJKO (Mentoring Junior Kids Organization), a charity that helps at-risk youth learn valuable life skills through the sport of non-contact boxing. In 2016 Randy was the recipient of the prestigious Legacy Award presented by Volunteer Toronto for his commitment to the community.
